Alejandra Herrera

A Mexican-American and San Antonio native, Alejandra Herrera is passionate about serving the Latino community. She holds a Master of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame. Through her personal experience, academic studies, and pastoral ministry, she is inspired to pass down the faith and culture to other young Latina women. Alejandra is the founder of Bendecida XV, a ministry that encourages and inspires young Catholic Latinas embarking on a coming-of-age faith journey. Bendecida XV provides an array of English and Spanish resources that focus on incorporating theological reflection and delivering culturally inclusive formation for young Latinas and their families. Alejandra is program associate of STEP and Camino in the McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame.
