It’s unlikely that the online popularity of Jordan Peterson has escaped your notice recently.

But in case you’ve never heard of him, here’s a quick explanation: he’s a psychology professor from the University of Toronto whose vlogs, interviews, and a recently published book ‘12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos’ – have taken the internet and media by storm.

While some call him controversial, deriding him from both a liberal and a right-wing point of view, others credit his lectures with actually saving them from suicide. Even a quick glance through the comments on his videos will show you hundreds of young people (particularly young men) who say he has changed their life and helped them grow up and take responsibility for themselves.

So what to think?! Professor Peterson’s arguments are clearly influenced by Jungian philosophy- and also Christianity. While he isn’t a Catholic, some viewers say that his video series on “the Psychological Significance of the Biblical Stories” bought them to the Catholic Church.
