Humility in Teamwork | Liturgy Live

by Catholic Media, Gospels, Leadership, Self-Knowledge, World's View

2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

This week we talk about the prophecy of Isaiah that can be looked at in three different ways. First and foremost, Christ is the fulfillment of this prophecy. Second, St John the Baptist is God’s servant and draws the people out into the wilderness seeking repentance and restoration.  Third, we are also called to be the light to the nations and to bring salvation to the ends of the earth. Again we discuss the need for us to decrease so Christ can increase in our lives. We talk a lot about how we aren’t always the hero of our own story, we are sometimes a supporting actor. The roles that we play in teamwork most likely are supporting roles and it is a place to have joy in humility.
